We regret to announce that Jeff “Chamba” Cruz will not be able to join us for Anime Evolution 2010 due to personal reasons. However, UDON Entertaiment will be bringing along another artist, Joe Vriens!
Joe has been a concept artist & illustrator with over a decade of professional experience in various industries including comic book, animation & video games. He has been involved in fan favorite comic projects like UDON’s Darkstalkers, Marvel’s Sentinel, DC’s Thundercats, and is also responsible for illustrations in video games such as Marvel VS Capcom 2, Street Fighter HD Remix, and Tatsunoko VS Capcom.

Announcing…

Last but not least, we would like to announce Pia Guerra and Ian Boothby to be joining us at Anime Evolution 2010.
Ian Boothby currently writes for Bongo Comics’ The Simpsons and Futurama comic books. His CBC sketch comedy series The 11th Hour was called, “The funniest sketch show since SCTV” by the National Post and The Simpsons’ Matt Groening has called Ian a “One man writing crew.”
Pia Guerra has also drawn stories for Doctor Who, Torchwood Magazine, Comic Book Tattoo, Simpson’s Treehouse of Horror Comics, Spider-Man Unlimited, illustrated for White Wolf gaming manuals and as well, produced storyboards for commercials and worked as a production designer on a sci-fi television pilot.

Cloudscape Comics

We are proud and excited to officially announce that Cloudscape Comics will be at Anime Evolution 2010. Cloudscape Comics formed as a means for a group of Vancouver area artists to collectively produce and promote a new comics anthology but further than that, it is also an organization where talented comic artists can meet and support one another while contributing to the already flourishing comics community in the Lower Mainland.

Registration hours have now been set and can be viewed below. For more information on registering at the door, and a link to the registration form for those wanting to complete it ahead of time can be found here: http://www.animeevolution.com/?page_id=1073.
Please note that ALL minors, even those attending with parent/guardian, must turn in a consent form upon pick up of their badge. If a minor has already turned theirs in, thank you. Please do not mail your form in now as we may not receive it in time and you could be turned away at the door. Any questions or concerns please email registration at registration@animeevolution.com
