Required Documents
All visitors to the convention must have a completed registration form and waiver to acquire or claim their convention passes. Registration can be carried out upon your arrival at the convention. Or, speed up your entry by registering in advance!

Two pieces of identification must be presented if you are claiming an adult pass, at least one of which must have a picture, and at least one of which must have a birth date. At minimum one must be government-issued.
If an attendee is a minor aged 13-17 years of age at the time of convention, they must have a completed parental consent form signed by their parent or legal guardian. Attendees 12 years and under must have a completed consent form signed by a parent/legal guardian and must be accompanied by an adult chaperone at all times. The chaperone may be anyone of 18 years of age or older.
The following ID is acceptable for claiming a convention pass (adult or minor):
- Driver’s license
- BC Identity Card
- Citizenship card
- Passport
- Any photo ID (work ID et al) with another ID that shows your birth date (Care Card, birth certificate)
In addition, the following is also acceptable for those claiming minor convention passes:
- GO card
- Care Card
- SIN card
- Birth Certificate
Note: If an attendee does not have any identification, they will not be able to pick up a pre-registered pass or acquire an Adult Pass. If one is purchased at the door it will be designated a Minor Pass.

Please make all cheques and money orders payable to “AE Convention Corp.”
In the event that a cheque is returned NSF, the convention pass will not be issued until all outstanding payments have been received. We reserve the right to charge an additional cancellation fee for all NSF payments.
Note: Due to the continual fluctuation of currencies, Anime Evolution cannot accept payments in USD for pre-reg. If you are a resident of the United States and are not paying electronically but wish to register, please contact your financial institution and request a Canadian Dollar money order or bank draft.
Processing
Confirmation notices are processed roughly semi-monthly and will be e-mailed to attendees. Registrants should expect to receive e-mail confirmations 4-6 weeks from date of receipt.
Badge numbers will be provided with the registration confirmation email. Payment status will be posted on the pre-registration list and updated as confirmation e-mail batches are sent.
Please ensure that you check your spam or junk mail bin, as your confirmation may be placed there or may have been caught by a spam filter. Please either allow time for your confirmation to arrive, or check the confirmation list online. Every effort will be taken to ensure that no registration is missed, but Anime Evolution does not take responsibility for missing, late, or misdirected registrations.
